YAY 31st december is the last day of 2008 and also my last post of the year!
next post shall be next year / next month. Wahah!
so 08 is coming to an end.
its a very good year i must say!
living a life as a jc1 student in the supposedly stressful school.
and im currently looking forward to 2009 but not school year 2009! Arg holiday and fun has taken the drive in studying out of me currently and i think i better get it back soon before the workload starts to continue to pile. but not that i will forget to have fun in the remaining less than 2 weeks time ( plus finish up the hw and my report).
08 has by far been a smooth sailing year for me! heh well it better continue in the rest of the years. currently, i dont have much of a resolution for myself except to do well in what i wish to do well, haha maybe i will start thinking of that in the next year (which is tomorrow actually in less than 12 hours). but before the clock strikes twelve! , let me extend my thanks to all the people in my life who made my 08 year so fulfilling! (which includes people from primary school till now la haha, ok is everyone i know) quite lazy to list out all,but just know that ur thanked, from the bottom of my heart, the top of my heart, left, right external, interior. HEHE!
ok let me end this 08 last post short and sweet.
summary of my holiday events!
cousin's baby first month coming soon wahaha and gathering with sec sch people.
later going countdown and ton the night woohoo.
dao bi-ed escape outing that changed to kbox (again, 3rd time) and stingray dinner with HF yay!
xmas party at vionna's house full of otah WaHaha!
pri sch outing which i initially wanted to be part of the "sick on friday people" but glad i went for it
wushu cip with free nasi lemak lunch! WaHaha!
moving ahead camp that made me dam tiring but still, it turned out fine and fun
trans camp which made me pei fu the ever energetic kids with us as leaders that seemed old already
supernova camp a long 4D3N camp that separated my whole post into so many ones, but im seriously glad i joined it (as programmer haha!)

escape outing that daobi the second time - kbox as backup came in handy again. lol
bought a new bag woohoo major event.
113 gathering, ate pizza and food wahaha! played games.
end of pw! haha though its fun to slack at mac every sunday and kope the sausage from clara that cost only 10c MUAHAHA!
so that marks the almost ending of my holiday. didnt bother to type out the hw stuff since its supposed to be happy stuff on blog! (though that doesnt change the fact that i still have quite some hw to do! Arg)
ok thats about it. still short and sweet, just that im taller.

ok finally reached the last day.
nothing much actually other than preparation for the presentation. went ahead to the tecc with cedric to prepare the auditorium (ok actually is just scene-seeing so didnt do much) waited for the campers to come and then the presentation begins! it was dam cold inside by the way. so.. blah blah. too tired on last day actually haha and we were just slacking around. slept on bus even Lol.
so thats about it for Supernova.
the next day was... trans camp! ARG

Day 2
ok day 2! started with captain mania. is actually just captain ball la lol. but is 4 groups play together and many balls! LOL each type of ball gives different points la, so there is beach ball, ping pong, tennis, squeaky, the mystery item - raw item which hayden went to bought early morning! anyway i was the point counter la (basically just count points) haha anyway that sorta ended the morning exercise.
Note: anyway quite long ago already so may have forgottten about alot of things! Arg.
so after that, hmm had breakfast. i think it was beehoon yea.so ate it then the campers when out for newspaper collection while we stayed behind to help shi han with her auction preparation (ok actually is to slack!) so we wait and wait, some slept etc. haha.
anyway after they came back, auction! ok its a delicious auction but we have no chance at all to enjoy the food! ARG ok here's a few pictures.

which camp allows u to enjoy such wonderful food?! (even though they are cold and soggy already) so we helped to parade the food around blah blah. drooling already is it! some more we havent have lunch yet! ARG in the end.. i think hayden bought chicken rice for all of us haha!
so after that was preparation for tribal night! woohoo! helped to make some decorations for the night and carried the dam heavy table to the Volleyball court. and our banner came into hand!!
so its tribal night! and alot of noises, performace by the tribes etc too lazy to type out all. anyway we helped to serve the buffet food. i helped to serve this looks dam delicious food! woohoo! so after that we ate that too. haha and activities held by host and programme dam act high when nobody really knows us! ARG haha but nvm just zi high! Lol. then erm after that i think we went to help prepare the decorations at the...place behind the flag pole! ah ya haha dont know what it is. anyway we pasted light stick on the walls, shape it into heart shape etc (though the heart shape is pretty ugly except for the first one) so after that we went to prepare for testimonial stuff all those. haha got to sleep quite early that day compared to the campers! and we slept on the place behind the flag pole anyway. and that night, it was 6 people on 2 sleeping bags! omg worse haha but we just squeezed into it anyway. so.. played bridge like 1 or 2 games before going to sleep already Lol!
so.. end of second day!

Supernova 3-day camp (part 1)
supernova camp begins!
Day 1
woke up at around 6+ to bath and make our way to prss. reached at around 8 when we are supposed to arrive at 7+ Arg but nvm lucky there isnt much to do yet. put our bags, blah blah 9+ and the camp begins! (with icebreakers of course) ok didnt do much except helped joel set up some of the stuff like filling the waterguns! then programme people play their own games while campers play their icebreakers. got sprayed by yy's water gun, slack around haha!
then tried to teach the camper about the friendship dance oO with? dont laugh but its joel, cedric, yiqian and me. dam funny combination and all guys Arg. so there we were teaching them the.. ah hem.. friendship dance.

ok cause got nothing much to do la. so after that went to eat beehoon which vionna and shihan bought, and continue to discuss about the upcoming events while waiting for camper to do their flags.
then team building! game ic for the limbo maze woohoo. sounds fun eh? but not being the ic! because u have to set up the maze urself! arg
our maze! haha ok anyway this station was guarded by me and cedric!
tie the raffia here and there, scotch and pray that campers who come doesnt destroy the structure. haha! so we tell them that any group who breaks it will get no signature!! Lol but lucky none did la. and only 3 groups came. and we spray water at them! woohoo. ok but then they play it like it was a 3-year old game T.T completed it so fast. and our water was totally no obstruction! lol but anyway was still quite fun to spray la HEHE. arg anyway last group didnt come! to think we wanted to save rest of water for the last group! lol ok then it purchasing of items, building and bombing of structures blah blah. and while they were building it, we played some games (ok 1 only.)
ok i was not bad at this cause i kuang kill yingying! WOOHOO who was supposed to be a veteran (with joel , cedric and shihan. too bad they kuang lose to us! Lol) ok anyway after that we the bombing was dam funny too! one of the group had the lowest building structure at the beginning so every group aimed at the tallest one till it collapsed! Arg then they went for the second tallest and third tallest. (third fell too, while second one was totally waterproof! dam pro Haha). in the end.. the one with shortest building at the beginning came in second! totally unexpected! WAHAHA.
ok then it was dinner already! ate together with the programme people. then its nightwalk! had my own station at the parade square. prepared it pretty fast haha since only put a few things and pour ketchup! woohoo (dont worry its not the dirtiest!) haha
basically my station is: ok quite lazy to describe everything but the main part is to burst a balloon on a chair full of ketchup sauce!! woohoo
initially when the nightwalk started, prominent me started to attract many attention! arg (shone too much la HEHE, btw 08 SNC theme is dare to shine) 2 groups came at same time. ok royal rumble! haha yy helped out too so many thanks! yea anyway quite chaotic at that time so yea lucky got help. haha later the other 2 groups came one by one so it was pretty peaceful. once, yy came to burst this guy's balloon and we forced her to help him burst the balloon on the chair! HAHA dam funny. ok anyway after all the groups went off, went to join cedric and shihan's moving station! wahaha dam kelian nobody went to their station but then after i joined all 4 groups came to theirs already! Lol. ok anyway after some time nightwalk ended. erm.. i think ho chunk came in first cause they found the murderer / mysteryman / whatever that is who is yingying! Haha then the day ended with a debrief with programme people sitting in the dark. spoke alot, thanked people, gossiped, here and there but its a dam good debrief! woohoo then another 2 more debrief arg by then we were all quite sleepy already and was almost sleeping as we listened.

haha by the way its me and cedric (supposedly my twin. ok not kidding but got dam lots of people say we look alike T.T some say we're brother, twin (omg?!) some say we move alike, speak alike. no. of people who said that almost uncountable arg. ok just have to live with that for now >< HAHA just joking poh)
after that we went to bath. wanted to chiong with joel and cedric to the toilet asap to get consecutive cubicles since i dont have shampoo and someone else dont have either soap or what. so we chionged but halfway, went to help carry chair Arg in the end no cubicles left! Lol so we wanted to go eat first and yiqian dam hungry guy chionged out of cubicle and went along with us! LOL. so went to eat some biscuits first lol then bathed, set up sleeping bags on parade square (there were only 4 sleeping bags and 9 of us!! ARG so is kuang squeeze. lol but we played bridge awhile played other game, slack here and there, went to play human knot (LOL), surprise vionna, and slept at around 5++. ok dam late for a camp but oh well. haha everyone squeeze on the sleeping bags. then somewhere in my sleep, heard this ringtone again and again Zzz ok sorta woke me up each time it rings arg and overheard vionna and timothy's convo about how vionna cant move her neck! Lol
in the end woke at around 6.30. kept our sleeping bags but all of them still sleeping! anyway we are at day 2 already by the way. =p
ok thats it first haha! too long already quite lazy to continue blogging. some more 2 more camps arg. so.. wait first ba! HAHA

Ok now it is time for me to post jiahao's POV of supernova camp 08 as a programme-er.
still quite sick on the day of precamp. feeling dam weak and dehydrated for some reason. but nvm still went ahead haha cause precamp night, we are (me and yiqian) sleeping in cedric's house so is still quite easy to convince dad and mum. so met up with cedric, yiqian shiwee and eleen first before walking to prss (campsite). carrying quite alot of stuff, but then i realised i brought quite little clothes for the 4d3n! Arg but nvm. see how things go haha!
so reached at around 6+. only vionna and shihan was there. wasn't the precamp supposed to start at .. 9am?! ok nvm so we slacked around played bridge and stress! woohoo till alot other people arrived and yy bought prata for dinner but i didnt eat cause of my throat arg. felt dam thirsty throughout the night arg. wrong time to get sick but anyway. then we went to try out some of the ice breaker games and also captain mania (which is actually captain ball but using different type of ball) couldnt play but watching the way they play was dam funny. because there are more than 2 groups playing and more than 5++ balls in court in the end, what turned out was...ok wait 1 of the group (forgot who was in it, but think it was cedric, yiqian, shiwee, timothy) who kept passing the ball to and fro the captain which results in continuous scoring! ok u'll have to be there to know how funny it is.
then went to help out in packing of logistics cause the room was dam messy and the items were here and there. didnt help much actually and i got cedric to help in packing items for my game hehe thanks alot! woohoo. went off soon after that though it was around 11+ already (or 10+) walked to a coffeeshop with a few others to buy food before going to cedric's house. quite lazy to bath at that time so we slacked around for awhile before going to sleep! yiqian on top, me on the middle bed and cedric on mattress on the floor! WAHAHA
yay so thats it with the precamp. no pictures this time quite short precamp but nvm haha is my POV! Lol

ok im blogging after quite some time.
so many things to blog about. hehe time to start.

5 day work at Changi General Hospital. too technical for blog post but i'll make it interesting
hahas!
rotated shift around different departments during the 5 days which include
the lab on the first day,
the radiology & biomedical engineering on the second day,
the pharmacy on the third day,
the dietetics and food services on the fourth day,
and lastly, the rehabilitative services on the last day.
don't be jealous but its a really valuable experience. we helped them in superficial stuff since we are not experienced but it was fun packing stuff too ok! woohoo. feel like entering the healthcare sector cause is really dam fun to help people and the people there are so nice! yay.
and the picture of the event! us donned in surgery uniforms! Woohoo dam cool.

Preparation for...precamp!
went down most of day to do some stuff like tribal banner!
ok i drew the dinosaur and the baby on the right. dam cute right! and we did the tribal words! dam cool! ok actually yiqian did most! haha he editted all of our drawing except probably my dinosaur which passed the test woohoo! if not, the poorly drawn female on the left by cedric, left baby by hayden and right baby by me would be a disgrace when its put up! HAHA ( BUT THEN AGAIN, nobody like notice our banner on the tribal night leh. ZOMG!! Arg)
but we're proud of ourselves WAHAH.
ok next day, went to help to print booklet and staple them. quite nice the booklets! i brought home a stack to store till the camp.
next day.. sick like siao arg.
fever 38.9 degrees OMG dam lack of energy the whole day. went to see the doctor downstair who kuang address me as "boy" Arg
ok thats it first. waiting for supernova photos to come out before continuing! hahas
